The Juice is a new online publication by Creative Squeeze dedicated to the everyday hustle of the creative world in which we live. From art, music, and photography — all the way down to culinary arts — we shed light on the successes, failures, processes, and inspirations behind some of our favorite creative people and places.
In 2012, The Great Company moved into an abandoned toy warehouse in the Arts District of Downtown Los Angeles, a community attracting neighbors as diverse as Warner Bros, Hyperloop, and Soho House. Artisans and craftsmen of every discipline contributed over a six-month period to create a stunning 7.000 square foot studio space for collaboration, filming, recording, and performance - a treehouse for creators.
Forecast Recordings is a boutique recording studio housed in a second story loft space in LA's downtown Arts District. Discreet, serene, spacious and vibe-filled, the studio itself is perfect for writing, producing, live tracking, mixing and mastering audio.
Feedback and constructive criticism, whether it's being given or accepted (or denied), is not only important to our overall creative output, but also essential for our business. I've learned that each year, some trends fall out of style, other new trends take over, and some others continue to trend strong for the next year. What remains constant is how consistently design trends change and I'm here to shed light on my perspective and predictions for this upcoming year.
2017 was the year where we learned the most (so far). Here are a few things we picked up on this year that helped us expand our business and kept us focused on our goals.
