Client: Fenix Recovery • Project Type: Branding, Package Design
Fenix Recover came to Creative Squeeze with a product for a recovery drink that held a different recipe than most. Our team was responsible for creating the branding, packaging and identity for Fenix. With an understanding behind their product, we were able to establish a visual identity that connected with the audience it served.
For the typographic treatment to Fenix, we decided to focus on having a balance between the symbol and the word-mark. The direction we used to approach the concept was one of sophistication, legibility, and longevity. This full mark sets a high standard, representing where Fenix fits within the line of competitors.
Mark: The phoenix best exemplified the meaning behind the brand. With the product being a recovery source, we feel that the phoenix’s infamous phrase, “rise from the ashes” is a great tagline to the mission statement of the brand.
It’s imperative that a brand’s color palette expresses who they are, what they do and what they’re about. Colors present a personality that helps you target the right people. We wanted colors that would represent the embers of a phoenix without being too overwhelming by having a harsh tone. These tints of red, yellow, and orange fit the feeling conveyed through Fenix.

Typography is the art and technique of arranging type to make written language legible, readable, and appealing when displayed. For Fenix Recovery, we have chosen a cohesive font pairing from Google Fonts to make sure that website copy will be consistent across all browsers.
Advent Pro has been chosen for headers for its strong, yet inviting style, making it approachable, but respected. Montserrat has been chosen for smaller headers due to its simple and communicative attributes, and it pairs well with Advent Pro. Roboto will be the body text to give the audience a combination of typography that is legible across all platforms.
